Product Overview

Emulsifier O-8 (Emulsifying Wax), chemically C12-14 fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene (8) ether (Pareth-8, CAS 68439-49-6), is a nonionic surfactant designed for high-efficiency emulsifying, detergency, dispersing and wetting applications. It is specifically formulated for textile dyeing scouring and washing, industrial hard surface cleaning, pesticide EC and EW formulation, emulsion polymerization stabilization, papermaking deinking, leather degreasing and metalworking fluids. Guoli Chemical provides stable quality, rapid response and customized formulation services.

Performance Features

  • Efficient emulsification: With an HLB around 11-12, it provides robust O/W emulsification for diverse oil types.
  • Good detergency: Effective scouring and cleaning agent for textile pretreatment and industrial washing applications.
  • Reliable wetting: Rapidly wets fabric and hard surfaces to improve treatment efficiency.
  • Emulsion polymerization stabilization: Provides stable latex particle formation in vinyl acetate and acrylate polymerization systems.

Application Guidelines

  1. Textile Scouring: 0.5-3g/L combined with alkaline agents for desizing, scouring and bleaching.
  2. Industrial Cleaning: 2%-8% in hard surface cleaner formulations.
  3. Pesticide Emulsifier: 3%-8% in EC and EW formulations.
  4. Emulsion Polymerization: 1%-4% based on monomer weight as a primary or co-emulsifier.

Packaging and Storage

50kg plastic drum, 200kg plastic drum, IBC tote. Cool, dry storage. 24-month shelf life.
