I. Operational safety issues: In case of accidental skin contact, immediately remove contaminated clothing and wash skin thoroughly with plenty of soap and water (following P302+P352 handling principle). If irritation persists, seek medical attention. Eye contact is the most dangerous situation — the hazard category of Rubailin/O-8 includes "serious eye damage/eye irritation (Category 1)". If it enters the eyes, immediately lift the eyelids and rinse thoroughly with plenty of running water or saline for at least 15 minutes. Do not use any neutralizing agents, and seek medical attention promptly. If ingested, rinse mouth, do not induce vomiting (unless instructed by medical personnel), and immediately call a poison center or doctor (P301+P312). When seeking medical help, present the product container or label if possible.
II. Performance issues: If problems such as unsatisfactory emulsification, abnormal cloud point, or phase separation occur during formulation adaptation, the following should be checked: whether the electrolyte concentration in the formulation is too high, whether the system pH is outside the stable range of Rubailin/O-8, whether the compounding ratio with other surfactants is appropriate, and whether the operating temperature exceeds the product's cloud point range. Although Rubailin/O-8 has excellent chemical stability (resistant to acids, alkalis, and hard water), compatibility under extreme conditions still needs to be verified.
III. Storage deterioration issues: If the product shows obvious color darkening, off-odor, severe phase separation or caking of the paste, it may be caused by improper storage. Rubailin/O-8 should be stored in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse, with warehouse temperature not exceeding 30°C and relative humidity not exceeding 75%. The container must be kept sealed and protected from direct sunlight. Once deterioration is found, discontinue use and dispose of the waste.
