When using OS-15 in industrial formulations, it is recommended to operate in a well-ventilated compounding area, using closed or semi-closed feeding methods to reduce splashing and vapor exposure. For compounded product development, OS-15 has good compatibility with nonionic, anionic, and cationic surfactants, but when used together with strong acids, strong bases, or strong oxidizers, small-scale tests should be conducted first to avoid performance degradation due to prolonged contact under extreme pH conditions.
In end-use applications such as detergents, textile auxiliaries, and pesticide emulsifiers, the OS-15 content in the final product is usually diluted to a safe range. However, it is still recommended to include appropriate irritation warnings on the final product label, especially for cosmetic and household cleaning product formulations that may come into direct contact with skin.
