OS-15 (AEO-15) is a nonionic surfactant, appearing as a white waxy solid. Under normal use conditions, it is non-explosive, non-flammable, and non-carcinogenic, with relatively good safety. However, according to GHS classification, this product is classified as Skin irritation category 2 (H315) and Serious eye damage/eye irritation category 2 (H319), indicating clear irritancy to skin and eyes. In addition, this product also has Aquatic chronic toxicity category 3 (H412), posing long-term harmful effects on aquatic organisms. Therefore, it is strictly prohibited to directly discharge undiluted or large quantities of the product into water bodies, sewers, or the environment.
During operation, effective impermeable gloves (such as nitrile gloves) and chemical safety goggles must be worn, along with appropriate protective clothing. The workplace should maintain good ventilation to avoid inhaling vapors or mists. Eating, drinking, smoking, and storing food are prohibited. Hands and exposed skin should be thoroughly washed after operation. Operators should receive specialized training and strictly follow operating procedures.

The product should be stored in a cool, dry, well-ventilated dedicated warehouse, away from fire sources and heat, and keep the container tightly closed. The storage temperature should be maintained at 5-35°C, avoiding freezing and excessive heat. If freezing occurs, thaw naturally at room temperature; do not use an open flame to heat. Avoid storage with strong oxidizers, strong acids, and strong alkalis. The storage area should be equipped with leak collection facilities (such as trays). Empty containers may contain hazardous residues and should not be used for other purposes before thorough cleaning.
For small leaks, absorb with inert adsorbent materials (such as sand, vermiculite) and collect in a sealed container for disposal. For large leaks, build dikes or dig pits to contain the spill, cover with foam to reduce vapor dispersion, and transfer to tankers or dedicated collectors using explosion-proof pumps. Prevent leaks from entering sewers, drains, or surface water bodies; use barriers if necessary.
