Alkali-resistant penetrant AEP (fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether phosphate, CAS: 68439-39-4) is an anionic surfactant with excellent resistance to strong alkali, high temperature, and hard water. It is widely used in textile printing and dyeing, leather, papermaking, metal cleaning, and other fields. However, due to its chemical properties, there are safety risks such as skin irritation, eye irritation, and hazards to the aquatic environment during use. The following precautions must be strictly followed during operation.
During use, operators should receive specialized training and operate in well-ventilated areas, avoiding inhalation of vapors or mists. After operation, skin should be thoroughly cleaned. The work area should be equipped with eyewash stations and emergency showers for emergency use. In case of skin contact, immediately remove contaminated clothing and wash thoroughly with plenty of running water and soap. For eye contact, rinse with running water or saline for at least 15 minutes and seek medical attention immediately.
In addition, this product has outstanding alkali resistance and can withstand strong alkali environments of up to 200g\/L NaOH. Its chemical structure does not decompose or separate oil under high-temperature boiling conditions. However, compatibility tests should still be conducted before use to optimize the process formulation and ensure compatibility with other auxiliaries (such as acids, oxidizers, etc.) in the recipe. Application Recommendations

- Textile printing and dyeing: Used in alkali-oxygen one-bath scouring and bleaching, cold pad batch, desizing, and mercerizing penetration processes. It is recommended to conduct small-scale tests to determine the optimal dosage. Typically, the working solution addition amount is 0.5~2g\/L. Its strong alkali resistance ensures that the penetrating power does not decrease in a bath of 200g\/L NaOH.
- Leather processing: Used in soaking and degreasing stages to help accelerate hide rewetting and deep degreasing. Recommended for use under medium alkaline conditions.
- Metal surface treatment and industrial cleaning: As the core penetrating component in alkaline degreasing cleaning formulations, it can be used in combination with alkalis, chelating agents, etc. Its low-foam properties make it suitable for high-pressure spray and immersion cleaning processes.
- Papermaking industry: Added in waste paper deinking and alkaline pulping stages to promote liquor penetration, improve deinked pulp brightness and pulp yield.

- Storage incompatibilities: Store separately from acids, oxidizers, food, and feed. Storage temperatures exceeding 40℃ may cause product deterioration; below 5℃ may affect fluidity.
