Polyether L-63 (also known as Polyether Polyol L-63) is a high-performance non-ionic surfactant manufactured by Hai'an County Guoli Chemical Co., Ltd. Its molecular structure uses glycerol as the starting core, and through block copolymerization of propylene oxide and ethylene oxide, it forms a high molecular weight compound with hydrophilic-hydrophobic amphiphilic structure, with a molecular weight of about 3000. At room temperature, it appears as a colorless to slightly yellow transparent viscous liquid, soluble in water, ethanol, ether and other organic solvents.
This product belongs to the typical Poloxamer class of surfactants, with an HLB value between 7 and 8, combining excellent emulsifying, wetting, dispersing and leveling functions. At the same time, the product has good resistance to acids, alkalis and hard water, low foam and good stability, and high processing tolerance. The hydroxyl value range is 54~58 mgKOH/g, acid value ≤0.05 mgKOH/g, active ingredient content ≥99%, moisture content ≤0.05%, with stable and reliable quality.
In terms of safety, Polyether L-63 is a non-hazardous substance. Acute oral toxicity tests show it is practically non-toxic (LD50 > 5000 mg/kg), non-irritating to skin, and may cause only mild temporary eye irritation. Flash point is greater than 220°C, it is a non-flammable liquid, and it is easily biodegradable, meeting environmental requirements.
