PPG-400 has proven safety through toxicological studies (rat oral LD₅₀ > 2000 mg/kg, non-irritating and non-sensitizing to skin), making it suitable for compliant use in daily chemical and pharmaceutical fields. Its high primary hydroxyl content provides moderate reactivity when used as a raw material for polyurethane synthesis, making it suitable for formulations requiring controlled chain segment flexibility. For industrial formulations, store sealed in an environment of 0–40°C to avoid moisture absorption.
