Stearyl Polyoxyethylene Ether SG-10 (CAS: 9004-99-3), chemical name Polyoxyethylene (10) Stearate, contains about 10 ethylene oxide addition units in its molecular structure, with a molecular weight of approximately 725. This product is a classic nonionic fatty acid polyoxyethylene ester surfactant. The synergistic effect of the hydrophilic polyoxyethylene chain segment and the lipophilic stearate group provides excellent O/W emulsifying ability and wide formulation compatibility.

The product appears as a white to slightly yellow solid or paste, with a melting point range of 35-40°C. Its kinematic viscosity at 40°C is approximately 50-80 mPa·s. It is easily soluble in polar solvents such as water, ethanol, and acetone. The pH of a 1% aqueous solution is between 5.0 and 7.0. It is chemically stable, resistant to acids, alkalis, and hard water. The cloud point range is 45-55°C, making it a low-foaming product.
