Product Overview

Stearic Acid Polyoxyethylene Ether SG-10, chemically Polyoxyethylene (10) Stearate (CAS 9004-99-3), is a high-efficiency nonionic surfactant with excellent emulsifying, dispersing and leveling functions. It is widely used in textile dyeing, cosmetic creams and lotions, industrial cleaning, metal cutting fluids and pesticide EC formulations. Samples and professional technical solutions are available upon request.

Performance Features

  • Effective O/W emulsification: With HLB approximately 13.5, it produces stable oil-in-water emulsions ideal for cosmetic and industrial applications.
  • Good dispersing properties: Helps maintain uniform dispersion of pigments, dyes and solid particles in liquid systems.
  • Textile softening: Imparts a soft and smooth hand feel to fabrics, suitable for synthetic fiber and blended fabric finishing.
  • Antistatic functionality: Reduces static electricity buildup on fibers during processing.
  • Wide compatibility: Works effectively with anionic, cationic and amphoteric surfactants.

Application Guidelines

  1. Textile Softener: 0.2%-1% in padding or exhaust applications.
  2. Cosmetic Creams: 1%-5% added to the oil phase at 70-75°C.
  3. Metalworking Fluids: 1%-3% as an emulsifier and lubricity component.
  4. Pesticide EC: 3%-8% as a co-emulsifier.

Packaging and Storage

50kg plastic drum, 200kg plastic drum, IBC tote. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse. Shelf life: 24 months.
