Product Overview

Stearic Acid Polyoxyethylene Ether SG-40 (CAS 9004-99-3) is a high ethoxylation degree nonionic surfactant with excellent emulsifying, dispersing, wetting, softening and antistatic properties. It is widely used in textile softening and antistatic treatment, cosmetic cream and lotion solubilization, metalworking lubrication and cooling, pesticide emulsification and dispersion, and papermaking deinking and softening. Guoli Chemical provides original factory production with stable quality, samples and professional application technical support.

Performance Features

  • High water solubility: The 40 EO units provide strong hydrophilicity, forming clear aqueous solutions.
  • Excellent softening effect: Imparts a superior soft and smooth hand feel to fabrics, especially synthetic fibers and blends.
  • Good antistatic properties: Effectively dissipates static charges on fibers during processing and in finished textiles.
  • Effective emulsification: Produces stable O/W emulsions for cosmetic and industrial applications.

Application Guidelines

  1. Textile Softener: 0.2%-1% applied by padding or exhaustion.
  2. Synthetic Fiber Oil Agent: 0.1%-0.5% in spinning oil formulations.
  3. Cosmetic Emulsifier: 1%-5% in creams and lotions.

Packaging and Storage

20kg woven bag. Store in a cool, dry place. Shelf life: 24 months.
