Product Overview

MOA-9 (AEO-9), chemically C12-14 fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene (9) ether, is a high-polymerization nonionic surfactant with excellent emulsifying, wetting and dispersing properties. It is widely used as a textile dyeing leveling agent, industrial detergent, household cleaning surfactant and pesticide emulsifier. It appears as a colorless transparent liquid to white paste at 25°C.

Performance Features

  • HLB approximately 13: Strong O/W emulsification with excellent detergency.
  • Outstanding wetting: Provides rapid and thorough wetting of fabrics and hard surfaces.
  • Excellent dispersing: Maintains uniform suspension of solid particles in liquid systems.
  • Good detergency: Effective in removing oils, greases and particulate soils.
  • Broad compatibility: Works well with all surfactant types and common builders.

Application Guidelines

  1. Textile Leveling: 0.1%-0.5% in the dyebath for even dye uptake.
  2. Household Detergents: 2%-10% in liquid laundry and dishwashing formulations.
  3. Industrial Cleaning: 3%-8% in hard surface and metal cleaning products.
  4. Pesticide Emulsifier: 4%-10% in EC and EW formulations.

Packaging and Storage

50kg plastic drum, 200kg plastic drum, IBC tote. Store at 5-35°C. 24-month shelf life.

MOA/AEO Ethoxylate Applications
