Product Overview

Alkali-resistant Penetrant OEP-70 is a special phosphate ester penetrant with outstanding alkali resistance up to 200g/L NaOH. It provides strong penetration and wetting for mercerizing, scouring and high-alkali textile pretreatment processes.

Performance Features

  • Extreme alkali resistance: Stable and effective in up to 200g/L caustic soda solutions.
  • Powerful wetting: Instantaneous wetting even in concentrated alkaline baths.
  • Deep penetration: Effectively penetrates mercerized cotton and dense fabrics.
  • Low foam: Suitable for high-speed continuous processing equipment.

Application Guidelines

  1. Mercerizing: 1-3g/L in 180-280g/L NaOH.
  2. Scouring: 0.5-2g/L in alkaline scouring baths.
  3. Continuous Pretreatment: 0.5-2g/L in pad-steam processes.

Packaging and Storage

50kg plastic drum, 200kg plastic drum, IBC tote.

Phosphate Ester / Penetrant Applications

  • Textile pretreatment: High-alkali mercerizing and scouring. Dosage: 1-3g/L in NaOH solutions.
  • Continuous pretreatment: Pad-steam processes for desizing, scouring and bleaching.
  • Pesticide formulations: Emulsifier and wetting agent.
  • Metalworking fluids: EP lubricant and anti-corrosion additive.
