Peregal O-25 (chemical name: fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene (25) ether, CAS No.: 68439-49-6) is a nonionic surfactant prepared by condensation of natural fatty alcohols with ethylene oxide. It appears as a white to slightly yellow flake or solid block, easily soluble in water. Its molecular structure features highly stable ether bonds, which are less affected by acids, alkalis, and metal salts. The HLB value is approximately 16.0–17.0, and the cloud point is above 100°C, allowing it to maintain excellent performance under harsh process conditions such as high temperature and acid/alkali environments.

Dissolution Method: Peregal O-25 is a solid product. It is recommended to dissolve it in hot water above 60°C with stirring, or directly add it to a high-temperature working solution. It is advisable to prepare a stock solution in advance for accurate metering.
Compounding Recommendations: In pesticide emulsifier formulations, Peregal O-25, as a nonionic component, is used together with anionic emulsifiers to flexibly adjust the hydrophilic-lipophilic balance (HLB) value of the mixed emulsifier, significantly improving the stability and spreading performance of pesticide emulsions. In cleaning formulations, compounding with anionic surfactants can produce a synergistic effect, significantly enhancing detergency.
Suitable Systems: This product remains chemically stable in acidic, alkaline, and metal-salt-containing solution systems, making it suitable for various complex process environments.
