Peregal O-50/100 (fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether, CAS No.: 68439-49-6) is produced by the addition polymerization of natural fatty alcohols (C₁₆~C₁₈) with ethylene oxide. O-50 has an EO addition number of approximately 50 and appears as a white to slightly yellowish waxy solid; O-100 has an EO addition number of approximately 100 and appears as white to slightly yellowish flakes or granules. With their extremely long polyoxyethylene chains, these products exhibit high hydrophilicity and excellent steric stabilization capabilities, playing irreplaceable roles in emulsification, dispersion, leveling, and stabilization across numerous industrial fields.
The core advantages of this product include: excellent O/W emulsifying power, outstanding electrolyte and hard water resistance, very low foaming properties, and good biodegradability and safety (non-toxic, non-irritating to the skin). Peregal O-50 and O-100 can be used individually or often combined to achieve better overall performance.

Method of dissolution: It is recommended to slowly add the product to hot water at 40~60°C, stir continuously until completely dissolved, and then incorporate into the formulation system. Peregal O-100 can also be directly dispersed and dissolved in ambient-temperature water. Small-scale trials are recommended to determine the optimal dosage and dissolution conditions for the specific process to achieve desired results.
Selection guide: Peregal O-50 is suitable for moderate-temperature processes and scenarios requiring moderate hydrophilicity (e.g., cotton scouring, metal cutting fluids, leather soaking). Peregal O-100 is suitable for high-temperature processes and scenarios requiring high hydrophilicity and stability (e.g., high-temperature polyester dyeing, pesticide emulsions, high-temperature cleaning). Combining the two can achieve synergistic effects in emulsifying power, stability, and foam control.
