Peregal O-50/100 and other AEO series products (such as MOA-3/9, OS-15, MOA-23) under Guoli Chemical belong to the fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether family, but there are fundamental differences in their design and positioning. Conventional AEO products (EO number 3~23) are mainly known for their wetting, penetration, detergency, and moderate emulsifying ability, suitable for daily cleaning and general emulsification scenarios; while Peregal O-50/100, with 50 or even 100 ethylene oxide adducts, has a polyoxyethylene hydrophilic chain segment 2 to 10 times longer than similar products, extremely strong hydrophilicity (HLB value up to 18 or more), thus bringing three qualitative leaps: excellent emulsion storage stability (strong steric hindrance effect prevents droplet coalescence), superior electrolyte and high temperature resistance (unaffected by hard water, salts, and high-temperature dyeing conditions), and very low foaming property (almost no foam, suitable for circulation pumping and spraying processes).
At the same time, the hydrophobic group of Peregal O-50/100 is C₁₆~C₁₈ natural fatty alcohol, with a longer carbon chain than the conventional C₁₂~C₁₄ products, providing stronger affinity for non-polar substances such as mineral oils, fatty acids, and waxes, resulting in higher emulsification efficiency. This molecular structure of "long hydrophobic chain + ultra-long hydrophilic chain" makes it an ideal choice for preparing fine particle size, long-term stable emulsions, which low EO number AEO products cannot achieve.
In terms of safety and environmental protection, Peregal O-50/100 also performs excellently: non-toxic, non-irritating to skin, excellent biodegradability, and stable performance under high salt concentration and wide pH range, without salting out or decomposition failure, with comprehensive performance significantly superior to most conventional nonionic surfactants.
