Peregal O-50/100 belongs to the fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether series, with CAS number 68439-49-6. This product is made from natural fatty alcohols (C₁₆~C₁₈) through an addition polymerization reaction with ethylene oxide (EO). When the EO adduct number is approximately 50, it corresponds to Peregal O-50; when the EO adduct number is approximately 100, it corresponds to Peregal O-100. Both are non-toxic, non-irritating nonionic surfactants with good biodegradability, meeting the environmental requirements of green chemistry and sustainable development.
In terms of appearance, Peregal O-50 is a white to slightly yellowish waxy solid, easily soluble in hot water and dispersible in cold water; Peregal O-100 is a white to slightly yellowish flake or granular solid, easily soluble in water to form a transparent solution. The core advantage of this product lies in its extremely long polyoxyethylene chain segment, which endows the product with extremely high hydrophilicity and excellent steric stabilization ability, enabling the preparation of emulsions and dispersion systems with fine particle size and excellent stability. It is particularly suitable for industrial formulations with strict requirements for electrolyte resistance, high-temperature resistance, and long-term stability.

Relying on its excellent emulsifying, dispersing, leveling, and electrolyte resistance properties, Peregal O-50/100 has an extremely wide range of applications:
It is recommended to slowly add this product to hot water at 40~60°C, stirring continuously until completely dissolved before incorporating it into the formulation system. Peregal O-100 can also be dispersed and dissolved in room temperature water. It is recommended to determine the optimal addition amount and dissolving conditions through small-scale tests.
This product does not fall under physical hazard categories and is non-toxic and non-irritating. However, it is recommended to operate in a well-ventilated area and avoid inhaling dust or aerosols. Thoroughly wash exposed skin areas after handling. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse, with a recommended temperature not exceeding 40°C, avoiding direct sunlight, and away from strong oxidizing agents, strong acids, and strong alkalis. In case of a spill, contain and collect with inert absorbent materials (such as sand, vermiculite) and dispose of as chemical waste according to local regulations.
