1. Polyurethane Industry: As a core component of polyether polyols, it reacts with isocyanates to synthesize polyurethane prepolymers and elastomers, imparting excellent flexibility, resilience, and hydrolysis resistance to the products.

Industrial Additives and Functional Fluids: Used as a basic component of defoamers in fermentation, papermaking, coatings, and other fields; as an active ingredient in mold release agents to form a release film for smooth demolding; and as a plasticizer and softener for plastics, rubber, and textiles.
3. Lubricants and Metalworking Fluids: Employed as a synthetic lubricant base oil and a thickening/lubricating component in water-glycol fire-resistant hydraulic fluids; provides lubrication and cooling effects in cutting fluids, quenching fluids, and other metalworking fluids.
4. Daily Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals: Acts as a solvent, humectant, and skin feel modifier in cosmetics; used to prepare nonionic surfactant intermediates via etherification or esterification; serves as a water-soluble base material for pharmaceutical ointments and suppositories.
This product is a non-hazardous substance with a flash point >200°C and good operational safety. However, it is still recommended to keep away from open flames and ensure adequate ventilation in high-temperature processes.
